Think of an irrigation system as a personal landscape supervisor. This ‘supervisor’ is there on a regular basis, only when needed, and most importantly, to ensure proper growth and development of your landscape investment.

Insurance
Irrigation systems provide insurance for an investment into a landscape. All living things require water on a regular basis for survival and optimum growth.

Design
Through a site-specific analysis and computer aided design programs, we can determine which type of irrigation system is the best suited for any given project, and offer a solution for every problem.

     > Conventional sprayheads
     > Impact rotors
     > Micro-Irrigation
     > Drip systems

Reliability
High-performance irrigation parts and installation techniques are utilized to guarantee long-lasting quality and durability.

All lines are buried below minimum frost depth levels for protection.

All heads are installed to flush grade levels to deter vandalism and unsightliness.

Management
Electronic controllers and valves provide worry-free, regularly scheduled watering applications.

Conservation
Rain sensors gauge the amount of rain fallen, and prevent overwatering.

During periods of heavy rain, a rain sensor will automatically override the controller schedule until irrigation is needed again.

Safety
We use the backflow prevention valves to prevent irrigation water from being mixed with your homes drinking water.

Innovation
Fertilizer siphoning systems are available which allow fertilizer applications to be done through the system instead of being applied by hand.

Drainage valves are installed into each zone to protect underground lines from freezing.

Extension
Outdoor lighting extends the beauty of nature into nighttime and enhances your surroundings.

Design
We design our lighting systems to bring out the beauty in various plant materials, or architectural features.

We emphasize the need for function and safety, not just decoration.

Application
Depending on the given situation, we will use different techniques for a certain type of effect:

...Uplighting an interesting tree…

...Lighting a pathway for nighttime use…

...Downlighting a tree to produce shadow patterns…

...Silhouetting against a wall or building.

Aesthetics
When we install a lighting system, we do it first for safety and enjoyment, and then to increase the beauty and the value of a home or building and its surroundings.

Flexibility
   120 Volt Lighting
Easily adapted to irrigation design and installations.

Durable copper, bronze, aluminum, or plastic fixtures available in many styles.

Wide variety of high wattages.

Wire is installed inside PVC pipe and deep in the ground.

   12 Volt Lighting
Easily adapted to existing landscapes.

Some durable copper, bronze, aluminum, or plastic fixtures available in many styles.

Limited wattages.

Power is transformed from 120 volts to 12 volts via a transformer unit.

Wire is a direct burial type, and can be installed without PVC pipe.

Safety
We ensure that paths and driveways are illuminated to allow users to enjoy these spaces safely.

Security
Lighting can also be installed to deter theft and vandalism occurring on your property.

Planning
The most beautifully conceived landscape can ultimately be ruined if drainage is not considered.

Safety
Removes standing water from back yards or problem areas and prevents mosquitoes and insect problems.

Commitment
All designs provided by RIVERLAND are well thought out when it comes to drainage.

We want you to enjoy your landscape and not have to worry about standing water.
